On the Outage Performance of Network NOMA (N-NOMA) Modeled by Poisson Line Cox Point Process

This paper studies the application of network non-orthogonal multiple access (N-NOMA) to vehicular communication networks, modeled by a Poisson line Cox point process (PLC). Particularly, road infrastructure is (PLP), whereas base stations (BSs) and users are located according 1D homogeneous processes (HPPPs) on each road. In considered N-NOMA scheme, there two types users, i.e., coordinated multi-point (CoMP) which far from their BSs NOMA close BSs, where CoMP served simultaneously applying principle NOMA. Specifically, collaborate with other provide reliable transmission for user Almouti coding, while BS employs superposition coding opportunistically serve an additional user. Compared conventional OMA based only served, proposed scheme significantly improves performance in terms outage sum rates connectivity, since more same resource block. A comprehensive analytical framework developed characterize system level PLC. Closed form expressions probabilities achieved obtained. Computer simulation results provided show superior also validate accuracy results.
